"Real" forward Kilian Mbappe commented on the fans' reaction after the 2-0 victory over "Real Oviedo" in the 36th round of La Liga.
Medianews.az, citing Publika.az, reports that during the match, fans booed the coach and players when the lineups were announced. The harshest reaction was towards Alvaro Arbeloa, Kilian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Aurelien Tchouameni. The French forward also faced a negative reaction from the stands when he entered the field in the 69th minute.
"Fans booing? That's normal. You have to accept it when you don't win, it's normal. It's like this at 'Real,' and at any club in the world," Mbappe said.
It should be noted that despite being booed, Mbappe provided an assist for Jude Bellingham's goal in the 80th minute.
