There was a mass brawl between the players of "Cruzeiro" and "Atlético Mineiro" in the final match of the "Liga Mineiro" tournament in Brazil.
Medianews.az, citing Oxu.Az, reports that shortly before the end of the match in which "Cruzeiro" was leading 1-0, a confrontation occurred between the goalkeeper of "Atlético Mineiro" and an opposing player.
This confrontation later turned into a mass fight on the field among the players. The star player of "Atlético Mineiro," Hulk, also joined the incident. He struck the opposing player on the head with punches.
It is reported that 23 players were penalized with red cards due to the mass brawl. However, these penalties will only apply to the "Liga Mineiro" tournament. In other words, the penalized players will be allowed to participate in matches in the Brazilian Championship.
