It is reported that 21-year-old Vuqar Adnayev from Lerik district, who worked in a furniture workshop in Baku, drowned in the Bilgah beach. The incident occurred during the night of June 20 to 21.
Medianews.az reports that Vuqar came to the beach located in the Bilgah area together with his friends and disappeared in the sea.
According to the words of the young man's uncle, Elshad Shabiyev, contradictions arose between the initial information given by Vuqar's friend about the incident and the facts that later emerged.
"When I arrived at the scene, I spoke with Vuqar's friend Tavekkul. He said they had put on their clothes and were getting ready to leave, and since their feet were sandy, they wanted to enter the water to clean them. When he briefly turned back, he saw that Vuqar was not there, and although he called out, he received no response. According to him, the water wasn't even reaching their knees. Later it became clear that Vuqar's clothes were in the car. I told Tavekkul, 'Don't lie, tell the truth about what happened so that we can act accordingly.' In the end, he said, 'Even if you cut off my head, I will not say anything else,'” he added.
It should be noted that although about two days have passed since the incident, Vuqar's body has not yet been found. According to information from relevant authorities, the search for the 21-year-old young man is currently ongoing. Baku TV
