"There will be destruction as a result of combat operations in Kyiv."
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this in an interview with the "Politika strany" Telegram channel.
He emphasized that there will be "noise" in the Ukrainian capital and said that Kyiv residents should be psychologically prepared in advance for the destruction in the city, and some should leave the city.
"We have witnessed the destruction of residential buildings, museums, and institutions. This is psychologically difficult, but we must be prepared for this scene," Dmytro Kuleba noted.
"If someone's nerves cannot handle it, I fully understand, it’s hard for everyone, then you should take a break from life in Kyiv. I urge everyone to be cautious and follow safety rules," he added.
