The visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Russia has concluded. The route of his plane and the turning off of the transponder during the flight have attracted attention.
Musavat.com reports that this information was shared by the Telegram channel "Pul Pervogo," which is close to the press service of the Belarusian president.
According to the information, Alexander Lukashenko has set out on a large-scale trip to the East and Southeast Asia region. It is stated that within this trip, the Belarusian president will visit three countries. The names of these countries have not been disclosed.
Based on data from the "Flightradar24" service, Lukashenko's "Boeing 767" aircraft numbered EW-001PB took off from Minsk in the morning and landed in Russia. About 40 minutes before landing, the plane turned off its transponder over the Tver region. According to the last transmitted signals, the plane moved toward the "Khotilovo-2" airfield located near the residence of the Kremlin leader in Valdai.
According to the publication, although the plane's takeoff was planned again, the flight was delayed a bit. Later, the plane appeared on radars over Kirov and Neftekamsk and headed in the direction of Central Asia. Subsequently, the transponder was turned back on, and it was revealed that the route extended toward Russia's Far East.
Another point highlighted in the article was the strengthening of security measures in the Valdai region. It is reported that in the morning hours, a 35-kilometer section of the M-11 highway near the residence of the Kremlin leader was temporarily closed. After 11 o'clock, traffic was restored.
