The Azerbaijan Appraisers Chamber (AQP) has announced the price indices in the automobile market for April 2026.
According to Medianews.az, the Chamber informed Oxu.Az that although the price increase continues, a slowdown in the growth rate has been observed compared to previous months.
According to the report, with December 2025 accepted as the base period, the overall market indicator rose to 105.8 points in April, marking a 5.8% increase compared to the base period and a 1.3% increase compared to March. This indicates that the upward trend in the market continues, but the price growth has entered a more stable phase.
According to the Chamber's analysis, the main driving force in the market remains the used car segment. The used car index stood at 108.2 points in April, an increase of 8.2% compared to December and 2.1% compared to March. In the new car segment, the increase was weaker. Specifically, the new car index rose by 3.5% compared to the base period and by 0.8% compared to March.
