The “WhatsApp” application is being changed with a new design update for iOS users.
Medianews.az reports that the new interface called “Liquid Glass” developed by “Meta” is already being tested in beta versions.
The new design spreads to more parts of the application, and visual changes are noticeable in sections such as message reactions and chat menus. The company aims to create a more modern and unified user experience.
The design is built on semi-transparent effects and smoother transitions inspired by Apple’s aesthetic approach. In the latest beta updates, the voice message player and interface elements have also been updated.
According to the “WaBetaInfo” platform, the message reactions panel and long-press menus will have a more transparent and modern appearance. Uneven design elements from the old version are also being gradually removed.
Currently, the new design is available only to a limited number of beta users. The official release date has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, it is reported that “WhatsApp” is also working on “Apple” CarPlay integration for cars.
