A traffic accident occurred in the territory of Mehdiabad settlement, Absheron district, and a citizen was trapped in the car.
Information to this effect was provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
In connection with the information, rescuers from the MES Special Risk Rescue Service were immediately involved at the scene.
While assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a traffic accident occurred as a result of a "Azsamand" brand passenger car colliding with a fence, and the driver of the vehicle was trapped in the deformed vehicle with various degrees of bodily injuries.
With the help of special rescue tools, rescuers saved the driver, Fikret Habil oghlu Mahmudov, born in 1995, and handed him over to the emergency medical team.
An investigation is being conducted by the relevant authorities in connection with the incident.
