US President Donald Trump stated that by starting a military operation against Iran, he saved Israel from potential destruction.
Medianews.az reports that Donald Trump said this in an interview with the "New York Post" newspaper.
"If it weren't for me, Israel would no longer exist," he emphasized.
Dismissing claims that the US was drawn into this conflict by Israel, the head of the White House revealed that he personally made the decision to start a military operation against Iran: "I made this decision because we could not allow Tehran to have nuclear weapons."
