The delegation led by Mongolian Prosecutor General Jargalsaikhan Banzrag is on an official visit to our country at the invitation of Kamran Aliyev.
According to Medianews.az, today Jargalsaikhan Banzrag visited the Honorary Alley, respectfully commemorated the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev by laying a wreath at his grave, and also visited the graves of the prominent ophthalmologist scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, the well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev, and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
Guests who arrived at the Martyrs' Alley paid their respects to the memory of the heroic sons of the Homeland who were martyred for the independence of Azerbaijan and placed bouquets of flowers on their graves.
During the meeting between Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Mongolian counterpart, it was noted that as a result of the farsighted political views and sincere relations of the political leadership of the countries, the relations between our states are dynamically developing, and the effective cooperation between law enforcement agencies was emphasized.
At the meeting, the Prosecutor General provided guests with detailed information about the work being done in our country’s prosecutor's office on digitizing activities and implementing new legal institutions.
Expressing gratitude for the sincere reception, Jargalsaikhan Banzrag said that the institution he represents attaches special importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that cooperation between the institutions will continue to expand.
During the meeting, a useful exchange of views was held on cooperation in the fight against crime, and agreements were reached on continuing relations in the fields of extradition, legal assistance, training of prosecutors, and other directions.
Additionally, during the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed aimed at strengthening legal cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries and further intensifying existing relations in the future.
Also, during the meeting, Jargalsaikhan Banzrag was awarded the “100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor’s Office” jubilee medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his contributions to the development of cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries.
After the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the History Museum of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
