The plant supplying Moscow with gasoline was hit – Serious fuel crisis in Russia

Ukrainian drones broke through this city's layered air defense of the Russian capital and struck the Moscow Oil Refinery.

Political analyst Shahin Jafarli told Medianews.az that this facility, owned by "Gazpromneft," supplies 40% of Moscow's gasoline demand and 50% of its diesel needs.

Sh. Jafarli recalled that in recent weeks, a rationing regime has been implemented in many regions of Russia, and at gas stations, a maximum of 20 liters of gasoline is given per vehicle: “In the first week of June, the country's oil refining dropped below 4 million barrels per day, which is the lowest level in the last 21 years.

The situation in occupied Crimea is even worse. The Ukrainian army continues operations aimed at completely cutting off the logistics of the peninsula, as well as the occupied parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. At the end of this process, an offensive operation in the southern Kherson and Crimea direction is not excluded.

The domestic Russian market is on the verge of a serious fuel crisis.”
