As reported, the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has appointed Jabbar Musayev as the Prime Minister of the autonomous republic based on the nomination of the President of Azerbaijan.

Jabbar Hafiz oglu Musayev was born on January 10, 1981, in the city of Nakhchivan.
He received higher education in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, and in 2007 graduated with honors with a master's degree in Finance and Credit from Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics.
From 2004 to 2013, he worked as a senior advisor and sector manager at the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, from 2013 to 2016 as deputy director of High Technologies Park LLC established by the relevant decree of the President of Azerbaijan, and from 2016 to 2024 as head of the apparatus of the State Statistics Committee.
By the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated November 4, 2024, he was appointed head of the Executive Authority of Nakhchivan city of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
He is a state service counselor. By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated June 23, 2021, he was awarded the medal "For Distinction in Public Service".
He is married and has two children.
