The information was shared by her friend Aygün Sarılı. According to Aygün Sarılı, an unknown person entered the house posing as a customer.
A dispute arose between the parties, and a physical fight broke out. According to claims, the person attacked her with a knife he had on him. According to the information, the attacker first tried to hit Nərmin Mürselli in the head area. The victim resisted, shouted, and called the neighbors for help. After that, the unknown person stabbed her twice in the abdominal area and fled the scene.
Nərmin Mürselli was taken to the hospital with the help of neighbors and underwent surgery. According to her relatives, her condition is assessed as serious. It should be recalled that Nərmin Mürselli was formerly a member of the NİDA Civic Movement and spent some time in prison. Later, she moved to Turkey and underwent gender reassignment. In her statements, she had accused journalists Xədicə İsmayılova and Mehman Hüseynov of being responsible for her imprisonment.
