Ghana for the 2026 World Cup with Joachim Löw preparing to sign the contract

Former Germany national team coach Joachim Löw is very close to taking charge of the Ghana national team.

According to Medianews.az citing "Report," it is expected that a short-term contract covering the World Cup 2026 will be signed with the 2014 world champion.

Negotiations between the parties have intensified in the last 24 hours, and the details of the personal agreement are being finalized. According to the proposed deal, the 64-year-old specialist will receive a salary of approximately 150,000 euros per month.

The Ghana Football Association intends to fill the vacancy left by Otto Addo's departure shortly.

The Ghana national team will play their first game against Panama in Toronto on June 17. The "Black Stars" will compete against England, Croatia, and Panama in the group stage of the World Cup.

It should be noted that J. Löw led the Germany national team for 15 years (2006-2021) and won the 2014 World Cup held in Brazil with the Bundesliga team.
