To review appeals related to exam results, an Appeals Commission will operate at the SEC. Those wishing to appeal can register by filling out the electronic application form, which will be posted on the SEC website from 10:00 on June 29 until 17:00 on July 1. Those who do not register within the specified period will not be able to apply to the Appeals Commission later. The application must select the number of the task being appealed, include the content of the appeal, and indicate which criterion it corresponds to. Applications with no content specified will not be accepted, and such appeals will not be examined. The appeals process follows the sequence below:
All works subject to appeals will be examined by the Appeals Commission;
Expert opinions (in writing) regarding the tasks appealed by applicants will be attached to the appeal applications;
Applicants will receive an SMS on the phone number provided in their appeal applications notifying them about the completion of the appeals process.
Afterwards, applicants can log on to the website apellyasiya.dim.gov.az to view the appeal results and print the expert opinion.
Appeals regarding answers recorded in formats not compliant with instructions on the answer card (sheet), including corrections that result in the optical device misreading the answer (e.g., shading two circles in a closed question), will not be accepted.
Before appealing, applicants can familiarize themselves with their results, the graphical representation of their answer sheet, and the assessment criteria for each open-ended task on the SEC website’s exam results page. Past experience shows that about 15% of applicants who submit appeals did not answer the task at all or applied without comparing their answers with the possible correct answers and assessment scales. Applicants are hereby informed that such appeals will not be considered.
