First images of Apple's yet-to-be-released iPhone 18 model have been leaked online. According to the information, the photos show a mockup used by accessory manufacturers to prepare protective cases and screen protectors.
Medianews.az, citing foreign media, reports that the leaked images were shared by well-known insider Majin Bu.
The back panel has been completely redesigned
The photos show a silver-colored iPhone 18 model. The most eye-catching innovation is the large, elongated camera block located on the rear panel.
Two main cameras are placed in the same module, while the flash and an additional sensor are located in a separate section, noticeably separated from the main cameras. The overall design resembles Apple's Pro models.
No major changes expected on the front panel
According to the leaked mockups, there will be no significant changes on the front side of the iPhone 18.
iPhone 18 will not be released this year
According to journalist Mark Gurman, considered a reliable source for Apple products, the base model iPhone 18 will not be released this year.
According to the information, Apple will only present the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company's first foldable iPhone model this fall. The standard iPhone 18 model is expected to be released in spring 2027, around March-April, together with the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.
Prices may also increase
Additionally, Apple has already confirmed that it will raise the prices of most of its devices. According to analysts' calculations, the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro model could be about $1400, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max model about $1500. This represents an increase of approximately $300 compared to the previous generation.
