In Brazil, a hot air balloon carrying 21 people caught fire for an unknown reason approximately two minutes after taking off.
Medianews.az reports that as a result of the accident, 8 people lost their lives, and 13 were rescued.
Among the survivors, it was reported that there was a passenger who escaped by jumping from the balloon after the fire spread rapidly.
Numerous emergency medical and rescue teams were deployed to the scene. The injured were taken to hospitals.
Law enforcement agencies have started an investigation regarding the incident to determine the cause of the fire.
