An investigation is underway regarding the food poisoning incident affecting 8 people in the Quba district.
According to information provided to Medianews.az by the Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency (AFSA), an investigation is being conducted by the agency's employees in collaboration with relevant authorities to determine the causes of the incident that occurred under household conditions in the Quba district.
During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the affected individuals felt unwell after consuming food products prepared at home during a birthday event:
"Subsequently, they sought medical examination at the Quba and Qusar District Central Hospitals. Their condition is stable. Samples have been taken, and investigations are ongoing. The agency once again emphasizes the importance of adhering to storage conditions, temperature regimes, hygiene, and proper transportation rules when offering food prepared at home for consumption."
