With the initiative and support of the Special Forces Veterans, Martyrs' Families and Veterans Public Union, a two-day educational and recreational trip to the Quba district was organized on June 28-29, 2026, for the children of martyrs and veterans on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
According to Medianews.az, within the framework of the trip, the participants first visited the Quba Genocide Memorial Complex where they received detailed information about the history of our people.
Then, they visited Aynur Restaurant, located in the picturesque Gachresh forest, one of the enchanting corners of Quba, distinguished by its national cuisine and pure nature. The management and staff of the restaurant welcomed the children of martyrs and veterans with special attention and care, demonstrating high hospitality.
During the continuation of the trip, the children participated in the "Successors of the Special Forces Heritage in Quba" camp held at the "Quba Palace Hotel." The main purpose of the camp was to ensure the spiritual and psychological comfort of the children of martyrs and veterans, organize their leisure time effectively, strengthen the spirit of patriotism, and enhance friendship relations among them.
During the camp, "Quba Palace Hotel" provided all kinds of conditions for the children’s comfortable rest and effective leisure time organization. Throughout the two-day program, the participants experienced joyful and memorable moments by taking part in various entertaining games, sports competitions, especially a volleyball tournament.
On the second day of the trip, the children visited the Golf Club operating under the "Quba Palace Hotel." They were given detailed information about the sport of golf, the rules of the game were explained, and each participant had the opportunity to try this sport practically.
On the last day of the trip, a special feast was organized by the "Saffra" family restaurant for the children of martyrs and veterans.
The chairman of the Special Forces Veterans, Martyrs' Families and Veterans Public Union, Bahruz Mammadzada, expressed his gratitude to Ramin Yunusov, the head of the Union’s Quba district branch, for his activity and efforts in organizing the camp at a high level, and highly appreciated his work.
The main goal of the Special Forces Veterans, Martyrs' Families and Veterans Public Union is, in addition to the government care provided to the families of martyrs and veterans, to constantly keep their children in focus, contribute to their socialization, spiritual development, and effective organization of their leisure time. The Quba trip was successfully carried out as a continuation of a series of projects implemented in this direction.
It should be noted that the regular organization of such events significantly contributes to the social integration of the children of martyrs and veterans, improvement of their psychological condition, formation in the spirit of patriotism, and their more active integration into society. The Union plans to continue implementing similar social projects in this direction in the future.
