After the Ukraine conflict ends, Russia will want to return to the dollar system.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by the US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
According to the Treasury Secretary, the structure of the global financial system is such that it is ineffective for major economies to remain outside it for a long time, and after the conflict ends, Moscow will show interest in transactions in dollars again.
Additionally, Bessent also touched upon negotiations with official Tehran. He claimed that the Iranian side is ready to present invoices for commercial operations in US currency.
