The price of the vehicles confiscated in the criminal case of Vilyam Hajiyev, the former executive head of Imishli convicted of corruption crimes, has significantly decreased.
Medianews.az reports, citing qafqazinfo.az, that the "Range Rover" and "BMW 740İ" cars were put up for sale three times, but no buyers were found for them.
The executive officer will put the property up for auction for the fourth time with a 25 percent discount.
The price of the "Range Rover," previously offered at 56,000 manats, fell by 14,000 to 42,000, and the "BMW," offered at 23,000, decreased by 5,750 manats to 17,250 manats.
Only one of the confiscated cars related to V. Hajiyev's crime — the "Bentley Continental GT" — has found a buyer. The "Bentley," offered for 65,000 manats, was sold at the third auction with a discount of 6,500 manats for 58,500 manats.
It should be noted that the "Range Rover" (whose price at the time was more than 100,000 manats - editor's note) was driven by Vilyam Hajiyev’s son, Məhəmməd Hajiyev, and the "BMW" was driven by his wife, Cülyetta İbrahimova.
