Within the framework of the development of transportation infrastructure in Baku, it is planned to lay new tram lines in several directions.
Medianews.az reports that Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, said this in an interview with AzTV.
"It is planned to lay a tram line from Seabreeze to Mehdiabad. This line is planned to be extended from Mehdiabad to the '28 May' metro station. In addition, the laying of a tram line from the Bayil area to the '28 May' station is also on the agenda. At the same time, new lines are planned to be established from '28 May' towards 'Hezi Aslanov,' and from Mehdiabad to the '8 November' station.
As a result of the implementation of these projects, the transportation connection between the east and west, as well as north and south directions of the capital, will be further strengthened," V. Gasimli said./Trend.Az
