Dietitian Yelena Solomatina has explained the ideal foods for breakfast.
Medianews.az reports that according to the dietitian, a proper breakfast should consist of a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fiber.
Solomatina stated that ideal examples of breakfast include porridge with egg and avocado, cottage cheese with berries, as well as a simple omelet. Avocado can be eaten at any time of the day and makes the meal more filling.
The dietitian noted that porridge and muesli are mostly recommended in the first half of the day. When choosing muesli, attention should be paid to it being not sugary but containing whole grains and fiber.
