Turkish actress Aslı Bekiroğlu has spoken in detail for the first time about the severe health process she went through.
Medianews.az reports that the actress faced serious complications after a wrong myoma operation performed two years ago and as a result had to undergo several additional surgeries.
According to the actress, she underwent a total of 6 operations, and this process deeply affected her both physically and psychologically. She noted that at times she even faced life-threatening situations:
“During this period, I returned from death 2-3 times. I underwent two major surgeries lasting 8-9 hours. Despite the severity of my condition, my doctors were surprised that I remained strong.”
Bekiroğlu added that one more operation is still planned.
The actress claimed that some doctors did not accept responsibility and said she decided to take legal action. According to her, her purpose in making this statement is both to share her experience and to inform people who may face similar situations.
In conclusion, she approached the situation with humor and said: “They say what doesn’t kill a person makes them stronger. After the last operation, I will probably turn into the Terminator.”
It is reported that the actress’s condition is currently improving and her treatment is ongoing.
