According to information obtained by "Unikal," Rəşad Əhmədəliyev's resignation was accepted and he was dismissed from the job. It is reported that his dismissal was due to numerous complaints. Specifically, Rəşad Əhmədəliyev did not accept the martyr families, veterans, and city residents in a timely manner and avoided solving their problems. He also played a role in permitting illegal constructions in the city.
