Turkish singer Edis Görgülü was detained at Istanbul airport within the framework of an investigation related to drugs.

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office continues under the charges of "production and sale of narcotic substances," "facilitating use," "obtaining and possessing narcotics for usage purposes," as well as "encouraging and mediating prostitution."
The singer, who had a search warrant issued against him, was detained by police officers upon returning from abroad.
A total of 25 people have been ordered detained within the scope of the investigation. During the operation, a number of well-known individuals, including singer Murat Dalkılıç, Kaan Tangöze, and actor İsmail Hacıoğlu, were also among those detained.
Investigations are ongoing.
