Another famous singer, Yusuf Güney, has been detained in Turkey within the framework of an investigation against narcotics related to celebrities.
Medianews.az reports, citing Trend, that the pop singer is suspected of encouraging people to use narcotic substances.
Yusuf Güney, who was a guest on a program broadcast on a digital platform and made statements promoting the tea Ayahuasca, which contains a banned substance, was detained by police officers and taken to the Istanbul police department.
It is noted that the substance DMT, which is contained in the special drink (special tea) promoted by the singer, is included in the list of prohibited substances according to Law No. 2313.
Ayahuasca tea is a traditional plant mixture used in the Amazon region of South America with psychoactive effects. It is mainly used by indigenous tribes in religious and shamanic ceremonies and causes strong hallucinations.
