A delegation led by Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Housing Affairs of Saudi Arabia, has arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
Medianews.az reports that Azerbaijan Deputy Prime Minister, co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Intergovernmental Commission Samir Sharifov met with the delegation from Saudi Arabia on May 16.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed regarding the holding of WUF13 in Baku and Saudi Arabia's participation in the forum.
The current state of economic cooperation between the two countries was noted to be satisfactory.
There was an exchange of views on issues related to modern urban development and the prospects of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.
