Washington, in response to Iran's demands, has presented its five conditions to Tehran for the continuation of the process of resolving the conflict between the two countries.
Medianews.az reports that this information was released by the "Fars" agency.
The US administration believes that these steps are essential for the negotiations.
According to the agency, the United States firmly refuses to pay any compensation for damage caused during the bombing of Iranian territory. Additionally, Washington demands the transfer of 400 kg of enriched uranium from Iran to the US and the maintenance of only one nuclear facility operating on the territory of the Islamic Republic.
According to the "Fars" agency, the United States does not intend to release more than 25 percent of the frozen Iranian assets. At the same time, it is stated that the issue of ceasefire on all fronts should be resolved directly during the negotiations.
Recall that on February 28, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the Israel Defense Forces had carried out a preemptive strike against Iran. Later, US President Donald Trump stated that his country also participated in the military operation against Iran.
In turn, Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the launches, sirens sounded within the country, and air defense systems were activated.
On March 1, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was announced to have been killed during the attacks.
Iran launched missile strikes on the majority of neighboring countries hosting US military bases. As a result, airspace over those countries was temporarily closed.
Serious problems also arose in the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
On April 8, just hours before the deadline of the ultimatum given by Donald Trump to Tehran expired, Washington announced an agreement on a two-week ceasefire.
Subsequently, the parties held their first meeting in Islamabad.
The second meeting scheduled for April 22 did not take place./Oxu.Az
