"We have very intensive activities to ensure peace in the South Caucasus. The role of our region in the realization of the Middle Corridor is extremely important. Because stability in the South Caucasus is vital for the security of this corridor. The Zangezur corridor is a very important route for Turkey. We are also working on this issue with the European Union. After the peace agreement is signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, all regional countries will develop. We are very close to this."
Medianews.az, citing AZERTAC, reports that these statements were made by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in a press statement at the conclusion of the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF 2026). Afterwards, the minister gave information about the outcomes of the event.
It should be recalled that, under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this year's event was organized under the theme "Overcoming Uncertainties While Planning the Future."
