According to the report of the State Customs Committee, in the first five months of 2026, Azerbaijan's exports included 8.8 billion dollars from the oil and gas sector, 3.6 billion dollars from gold, and 12.5 million dollars from electric energy.
Medianews.az reports that the remaining main export products are ranked as follows:
fruit and vegetables – 354.8 million dollars;
plastics and products made from them – 124.1 million dollars;
aluminum and products made from it – 117.5 million dollars;
cotton fiber – 112.9 million dollars;
chemical industry products – 107.8 million dollars;
sugar – 54.7 million dollars;
ferrous metals and products made from them – 46.4 million dollars;
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, vinegar – 26 million dollars;
cotton yarn – 23.2 million dollars;
processed vegetable and fruit products – 18.5 million dollars;
cement – 18 million dollars;
vegetable and animal fats and oils – 15.2 million dollars;
tea – 3 million dollars.
