In the first quarter of 2026, 65.53 percent of Azerbaijan's exports were directed to European Union countries.
Medianews.az, citing the State Customs Committee, reports that exports to Italy amounted to 2.4 billion dollars.
Exports to the Czech Republic were 185.5 million dollars, to Romania 182 million dollars, to Bulgaria 181.4 million dollars, to Germany 142 million dollars, to Greece 122.4 million dollars, to Portugal 112.3 million dollars.
The remaining countries are ranked according to export value as follows:

France - 30.6 million dollars
Luxembourg - 20.2 million dollars
Malta - 9.6 million dollars
Belgium - 5.7 million dollars
Netherlands - 4.6 million dollars
