An official in Azerbaijan was fined

The Chairman of the Board of "Central Botanical Garden" Public Legal Entity, Ali Jafarov, has been fined.

Medianews.az reports that the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population issued a protocol regarding the violation of the requirements of Article 469-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses concerning the Central Botanical Garden (violations related to mandatory insurance for cases of loss of work capacity due to industrial accidents and occupational diseases), and the case was reviewed in court.

During the investigation, it was determined that last year two people – V.B. and A.A. – were injured at the Central Botanical Garden. Following the incident, inspections revealed that they were not covered by mandatory insurance in cases of loss of work capacity due to industrial accidents and occupational diseases.

By the court decision, Ali Jafarov was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Article 469-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and was fined 5,000 manats.

It should be noted that in February of this year, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the reorganization of the public legal entities "Central Botanical Garden" and "Dendrology Garden" under the head of the Baku City Executive Power, through transformation into the LLC "Central Botanical and Dendrology Garden."
