Starting from today, the sale price of "BakuKart" cards has been increased.
Medianews.az reports, citing Modern.az, that according to the information released by "BakuKart," the sale price of the card has been raised from 2 manats to 3 manats based on the new tariff.
It has been stated that "BakuKart" cards have been available for passengers since 2015 and the sale price of the card has not been changed in the past 11 years.
According to the information, considering the increases in card production, technical service, logistics, and infrastructure costs, the price has been reviewed again.
It has been noted that in recent years, digital payment options in public transport have been significantly expanded. Currently, passengers can pay not only with "BakuKart" but also via bank cards using NFC technology, mobile phones and other smart devices, as well as through QR codes.
"BakuKart" emphasized that the change applies only to the sale price of newly purchased cards. There are no planned changes in the card balances or in the fares applied in public transport.
