The next phase of improving road infrastructure in Baku is being launched.
Medianews.az reports that this information was provided to Oxu.Az by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
It was noted that in order to ensure the convenient and safe movement of citizens, comprehensive repair and restoration works are planned on streets and avenues requiring maintenance across the administrative districts of the capital. In the initial phase, repair works are planned to begin on several streets and avenues located in the Narimanov, Yasamal, Sabail, Nasimi, Khatai, and Nizami districts.
The streets and avenues where the repair work will be carried out are as follows:
Khatai district:
- Qadir Mammadov Street;
- Abdulla Rahimov Street;
- Kamandar Rahimov Street;
- Sergey Senyushkin Street;
- Rovshan Aliyev Street.
Nizami district:
- Side road on Gara Garayev Avenue;
- Jamshid Nakhchivanski Street (right and left sides of the 8th kilometer market);
- Aliaga Kurchayli Street;
- 4th Transversal Street.
Sabail district:
- Road leading to the "Gulustan" palace;
- Sheikh Shamil Street;
- Bunyad Serdarov Street;
- Alibeyov brothers Street.
Nasimi district:
- Abbasqulu aga Bakikhanov Street (from Rashid Behbudov Street to Jeyhun Hajibeyli Street);
- Samad Vurgun Street (from Fuzuli Street to Abbasqulu aga Bakikhanov Street);
- Fuzuli Street (from Azadlig Avenue to Rashid Behbudov Street);
- Asif Maharramov Street.
Narimanov district:
- Jeyhun Hajibeyli Street (from Hanifa Alasgarov Street to Mikhail Kaverochkin Street);
- Baksal road (from Ziya Bunyadov Avenue to Azadlig Avenue).
Yasamal district:
- Huseyn Javid Avenue (from Seyfaddin Dagli Street to Mikayil Mushfiq Street);
- Huseyn Javid Avenue (from Landau Street to A. Haqverdiyev Street);
- Ayna Sultanova Street;
- Sheikh Mahammad Khiyabani Street;
- Side road of the Outer Ring Road towards Shamakhy direction.
It should be noted that the repair works are planned to start soon. The goal is to improve the condition of the capital's roads, increase the convenience of traffic movement, and ensure the safety of road users.
