These patients should not be treated carelessly!

Omelet is not an ideal breakfast for diabetic patients.

Medianews.az According to Medicina.az, scientists say that although diabetic patients should eat eggs every morning, Russian physiologist Boris Yerlygin does not agree with this idea.

Russian physiologist Boris Yerlygin commented on the results of a study published by Canadian scientists that determined the optimal breakfast formula for diabetic patients.

In particular, the researchers concluded that the ideal breakfast for diabetic patients should be regular: more fat, fewer carbohydrates. They gave omelet or scrambled eggs as a specific example.

Physiologist Boris Yerlygin stated, “diabetes is different for everyone and this determines the individual nuances of each diabetic patient's diet.”

A person’s diet plan for diabetes is determined based on tests that allow understanding the digestion rules of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Therefore, each diabetic patient can determine their ideal breakfast based on this information.

“There should be a balance between fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. If this balance is disturbed, the digestive system will be affected,” the physiologist said.

The physiologist added that consuming excessively fried eggs and omelets can be dangerous for diabetic patients because fatty scrambled eggs can even harm the kidneys.
