On June 23, there will be five matches in the group stage of the World Football Championship.
Medianews.az reports that the matches will start at these times in Baku time:
Group I, 01:00 France - Iraq
04:00 Norway - Senegal
Group J, 07:00 Jordan - Algeria
Group K, 21:00 Portugal - Uzbekistan
Group L, 24:00 England - Ghana
The championship held since June 11 in the USA, Canada and Mexico includes 48 teams. The teams are divided into 12 groups. The top two teams in the groups and the 8 teams with the best results among the third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 32.
When points are equal, the result of the match between the teams is taken as the main criterion. The remaining criteria are: goal difference, number of goals scored, fewest official warnings (yellow and red cards), the team's position in FIFA's current ranking.
The group stage ends on June 28. The round of 32 is scheduled for June 28 - July 4, the round of 16 for July 4-7, the quarter-finals for July 9-12, the semi-finals for July 14-15, and the third place match and final for July 19.
