With the leaking of millions of documents to the public, horrifying details continue to emerge regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Publika.az, referring to "Milliyet," reports that one of the documents revealed that Epstein purchased 330 gallons of sulfuric acid in 2018.
Users on the social media platform "X" commented that Epstein used sulfuric acid to hide the bodies of victims, including children. Some also noted the chemical's lawful uses in batteries, desalination of saltwater, or pool filling.
Court experts speaking to the "International Business Times" said that sulfuric acid is extremely corrosive but cannot immediately erase all traces as depicted in films.
Some users recalled that John George Haigh, known as the "Acid Bath Murderer," used the same chemical in the 1940s to hide at least six of his victims.
