The conflict in Iran has claimed the lives of 7,400 people, the majority of whom are civilians.
This was stated by Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the "X" social network.
"There are hundreds of destroyed homes, schools, and hospitals. The rise in prices everywhere and damage worth billions of euros, including in Europe, is the consequence. This is the outcome of the conflict in Iran," he wrote.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that the agreement reached between the USA and Iran will open a new chapter in the Middle East:
"We hope that the peace agreement announced today will help end this madness, that all parties will abide by it, and that it will mark the beginning of a new era in the Middle East. We will celebrate. But we will not forget. And we will realize once and for all that war is an abyss. Dialogue and diplomacy are the only way," Sánchez wrote.
Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson also welcomed the agreement reached between the USA and Iran.
"Now it is essential to restore the free and safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible. This is crucial for global trade, which countries like Sweden depend on. Therefore, today's news is also important for the Swedish economy and the working citizens of the country. A long-term solution should mean not allowing Iran to obtain nuclear weapons or to threaten security in the region and the West." /Report
