Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan have been very good and sincere and continue to be so.
Medianews.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this during a meeting with the heads of leading international news agencies.
"I consider the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan to be very good. We have always had good relations with Azerbaijan both economically and politically. A few years ago, we signed a strategic cooperation agreement. These relations continue to develop.
Russia is grateful to Ilham Aliyev for the assistance shown in sending humanitarian aid to Iran," the Russian leader noted.
