Since the beginning of the year, Russia has dealt the strongest blow to Ukraine's energy system.

On the night of February 3, Russia dealt the strongest blow to Ukraine's energy system since the beginning of the year.

APA reports that this was stated on the "Telegram" channel of the Donbas Thermal Energy Company (DTEK).

According to the information, as a result of the mass strikes, a considerable number of Ukraine's energy production and distribution facilities were damaged, and the energy system across the country is operating with serious limitations.

"The attacks targeted Thermal Power Plants and Thermal Electric Stations in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro. Also, the company's facilities in the Odessa region were struck by rockets and drones," the company stated.

As a result of this attack by Russia, tens of thousands of people were left without electricity.

DTEK also recalls that due to Russia's next attack, electricity supply was cut off on the left bank of Kyiv city, especially in the Dniprovski and Darnytsky districts, and rolling blackouts are being applied for power provision on the right bank of the city.
