Russian soldiers have struck again the special area around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).
According to Medianews.az, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
The "Shahed" UAV struck one of the buildings of the centralized storage complex for spent nuclear fuel, an important infrastructure facility. An extremely critical infrastructure site. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Energy, and all our services are already trying to inform our partners about the situation. Russia deliberately struck this nuclear infrastructure facility," he noted.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the current radiation level does not exceed the normal level, and rescuers have managed to extinguish the fire that occurred after the strike.
"Last night, the Russian Armed Forces also struck other civilian targets in 13 of our regions. In total, over the week, Russia launched 88 missiles, more than 3,250 attack drones, and approximately 1,800 guided aviation bombs (KAB) against Ukraine. We must increase pressure on Russia," Zelensky concluded his remarks./Report
