Aghalar Atamoghlanov, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Kazakhstan, has been awarded one of the highest state honors of that country upon the completion of his diplomatic mission.
Medianews.az reports that Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev received Azerbaijani ambassador Aghalar Atamoghlanov, whose diplomatic service has ended.
According to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the minister thanked the Azerbaijani diplomat for his effective work in strengthening bilateral cooperation. Highlighting the high level of strategic partnership between the two countries, Y. Kosherbayev emphasized the importance of further developing mutually beneficial relations.
"During your diplomatic service, you adequately represented Azerbaijan and made an important contribution to strengthening multifaceted cooperation between our countries. You were directly involved in elevating Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan relations to a qualitatively new stage," the minister said.
Ambassador Aghalar Atamoghlanov expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh side for the comprehensive support shown to him during his mission.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Yermek Kosherbayev presented Ambassador Aghalar Atamoghlanov with the II degree "Friendship" ("Dostyk") Order on behalf of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for his great contributions to the development of amicable neighborly relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries./Musavat.com
