Medianews.az reports, citing Foodinfo.az, that a dietitian has issued a warning about the effects of green bananas.

According to the expert, resistant starch found in unripe bananas is not fully digested by the body. This can especially cause constipation in people with weak intestinal activity. This effect can be more pronounced in individuals with dysbiosis and other digestive problems.

Those with chronic gastrointestinal diseases and those leading a sedentary lifestyle should use this product cautiously. Although it does not cause serious problems in healthy people, experts recommend not consuming green bananas excessively and to take them as ripe as possible.
