A man in Gazakh beat his wife.
Medianews.az reports that the incident was recorded in one of the villages of the district.
According to the indictment, 40-year-old Said Gasimov (name and surname are conditional) argued with his wife at home around 5 a.m. During the argument, the man struck his wife's face with punches and slaps. As a result, the woman sustained several injuries.
For this act, Said Gasimov was detained and a criminal case was opened against him.
In his statement, the accused said that he has been married to Sudaba (a conditional name) for 11 years and they have 3 children. According to him, although he is tidy, his wife is a very messy person and he does not like this trait of hers. Previously, they had several arguments on this subject.
The last time, he came home drunk around 5 a.m. and saw that Sudaba had not cleaned the house. Angrily, he woke Sudaba up and asked why she hadn’t cleaned the house. During the argument, losing control, he beat his wife.
The victim, Sudaba, stated in her testimony that her husband has been drinking a lot of alcoholic beverages for the last 2 years. The woman said that the last time, drunk, he asked the reason for her cold treatment towards him. According to her, during the resulting argument, Said punched and slapped her face and eye areas for about 10 minutes. The children were asleep at the time, so no one witnessed the incident.
The victim said she did not reconcile with her husband and that she is filing a complaint against him.
By the court's decision, Said Gasimov was sentenced to 10 months of restriction of liberty. According to the verdict, he must wear an electronic bracelet, must not leave the house from 11:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and must not leave Gazakh and Agstafa for 10 months.//lent.az
