The wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Yelena Zelenskaya, may be arrested.
This was stated by former deputy of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Volodymyr Oleynik, in an interview with “Gazeta.Ru”.
According to him, if Yelena Zelenskaya cannot explain the source of 4 million dollars, she may face legal problems and even be held accountable.
Oleynik said that the mentioned funds are alleged to have been given by Timur Mindiç from Zelensky's close circle as “pocket money.” He also claimed that part of that money was used for purchasing a house in Egypt.
The former deputy noted that if the legal source of the funds is not proven, corruption charges might be brought against Zelenskaya./publik.az
