Special preparations for the month of Ramadan have begun in restaurants. Menus for the iftar table have been updated. Traditional menus have been further enriched. Although fasting has not yet started, there are already quite a few reservations.
Medianews.az, referring to Milli.Az, reports that menu prices have increased by 10 percent compared to last year.
According to restaurant owners, iftar menus range from 30 manats to 80-90 manats:
"The price difference in the iftar menu varies according to the variety and quality of the items in the menu. The dishes included in that type of menu differ accordingly. The 80-manat menu is richer."
Some restaurants also have special campaigns for the month of Ramadan. In those restaurants, a menu for 5 people costs 89 manats, and a menu for 10 people costs 179 manats.
It should be noted that the month of Ramadan will begin on the evening of February 18. The first day of fasting will fall on February 19.
