Based on the Labor Code and the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, changes have been made to the sequence of working and rest days for the month of March.
Since March 8 - International Women's Day falls on a Sunday this year, the following day - March 9 is a non-working day. In connection with the Novruz holiday, March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are considered rest days. Taking into account that March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26 have also been designated as additional non-working days.
At the same time, the Ramadan holiday will be celebrated on March 20 and 21. Due to the overlap of the Ramadan holiday with the Novruz rest days, the government has also designated March 27 and 30 as rest days.
Thus, from March 20 to 30, there will be no consecutive working days across the country. (Metbuat.az)
