The operation of a fire-hazardous banquet hall in Qusar has been suspended.
Information was provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
It was noted that during an inspection conducted by the State Fire Control Service of MES at the "Peri" banquet hall located in Qusar city, numerous deficiencies in fire safety were identified, and these deficiencies directly threaten human life or health, the environment, and the state's property interests.
It was revealed that in the kitchen of the facility, usage of gas stoves and rubber hoses at the joints of internal gas lines, which do not comply with fire safety standards, was allowed; an evacuation plan for people during a fire was not developed; the facility's smoke chimney was not cleaned; and so on.
Taking these into account, a decision was made to suspend the operation of the "Peri" banquet hall located in Qusar city due to gross violations of fire safety norms and rules.
