The results of the graduation exam held on April 12, 2026, at the general (9-year) secondary education level have been announced.
This was reported to Medianews.az by the State Examination Center (SEC).
It was stated that 9th-grade students who participated in the exam can enter the given link (https://eservices.dim.gov.az/2026/netorta/) and use their work number and the number of their identity document (or FIN code) to view their exam results and graphical representation of their answer sheets. Exam participants can learn their work numbers here.
Students can also find out information about their exam results (total score for each subject) by sending the code shown on the graduation sheet designated for this exam to the number 7727 via mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar).
The process of checking written assignments (open-ended question answers) was conducted online. Each marker joined the checking process from their home and reviewed the tasks randomly assigned to their computer by the program. It should be noted that during the online (from home) checking process, facial recognition technology was applied, and all requirements of the checking process were followed (improving criteria, encrypting work, markers participating in calibration for each task before checking, the "seeding" process during checking where pre-prepared and calibrated questions are regularly sent to maintain markers' alertness, random assignment of works to markers by the program, examination of exam protocols, etc.).
The software for online checking of written assignments was developed by specialists of the State Examination Center.
Out of 52,687 individuals expected to participate in this exam, 462 did not attend. Three individuals were expelled from the exam for violating the required exam rules.
Among the exam participants, 7 people achieved the highest result by scoring the maximum 300 points. Additionally, one student studying in English achieved the highest score of 200 points. It should be noted that graduates of schools where instruction is given in a different language take exams in 2 subjects (mathematics and a foreign language) and can earn a maximum of 200 points. The list of those who scored the maximum points can be viewed here.
An Appeals Commission will operate at the SEC to review appeals regarding exam results. Those wishing to appeal can register by filling out the electronic application that will be posted on the SEC website from May 12 at 10:00 until May 14 at 17:00. Those who do not register within the indicated period will not be able to appeal to the Appeals Commission later. In the electronic application, the number of the question being appealed must be selected, the content of the appeal must be written, and the clause of the criterion on which the appeal is based should be specified. Applications without the content of the appeal will not be accepted and the appeal will not be reviewed. The appeal process proceeds as follows:
All works appealed by the Appeals Commission are reviewed;
Expert opinions (in writing) regarding the questions appealed to by students are attached to the appeals applications;
A text message (“sms”) notifying the completion of the appeal process is sent to the phone numbers specified in the students’ appeal applications.
After that, students can log in to their applications on the website apelyasiya.dim.gov.az to view the results of the appeal and print the expert opinion from there.
Appeals related to answers marked in non-compliant forms on answer sheets, including corrections (e.g., shading two circles on a multiple-choice question, etc.) that result in the optical device considering the answer incorrect, will not be reviewed.
Before appealing to the Appeals Commission, students can familiarize themselves with their results, graphical representation of their answer sheets, and evaluation criteria for each open-ended question on the SEC website’s exam results page. Experience from previous exams shows that approximately 15% of those who submitted appeals did not answer the question at all or appealed without comparing their response with possible correct answers and the evaluation scale. We inform candidates that such appeals will not be considered.
